Billy Elliot Opening analysis

PRELIMINARY TASK NUMBER 2

This is our second edit for our preliminary task. We didn't quite fit the criteria in the first video as we missed out a shot reverse shot so we added a scene that included this.

Things that went well:

• We used a range of camera angles to add effects.
• Our editing was smooth and consistant when filming the stairs.
• We managed to cover the fact that people changed outfits throughout the week we filmed.

Things we need to consider next time:

• The sound is jolty in places for example the classroom scene.
• We filmed an added scene where Hayley gets up after her fall for continuity.
• In my opinion the part when Hayley holds up her planner isn't believable and over exaggerated so i would change the shot to a POV shot to make it more realistic.
